Prior to this position I held a fellowship at Queen's University Belfast where I also received my PhD in psychology. In my current role I am working on a project examining stress and payment contracts but I have previously focused on financial decision-making and personal debt.
Yu Aoki
University of AberdeenYu is Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Economics in the Business School and the Health Economics Research Unit, and an IZA Research Fellow. She is an applied micro-econometrician working in the fields of labour and health economics. She is currently doing research on the social integration of immigrants in the UK, focusing on the causal impact of language skills on various socioeconomics outcomes, using a natural experiment. She is also working on the project on Covid-19 and child health.
